Some of the past events hosted by FYC

Youth Activity Booth @ LepakFest 2023
  • On 2nd July 2023, FYC hosted a booth at Lepakfest 2023 – a youth carnival organized by Nee Soon East Youth Network.
  • Under the booth theme of Mental Health and Stress Management, FYC engaged a psychotherapist from Hypnotherapy SG to facilitate part of the booth activities. 15 Volunteers lent their support for this event.
  • The booth offered games, art activities, and a relaxation corner, with the aim of helping participants unwind through play and encourage self-reflection. Participants had the opportunity to practice mindfulness, concentration, and relaxing breathing techniques during the activities.
  • FYC received a certificate of appreciation from Mr Louis Ng, the Nee Soon East Division MP, for the significant contribution to the event's success.



Tomorrow Today Series – Empowering our Relationships
  • On 5th March 2023, FYC conducted the inaugural Tomorrow Today Series, focusing on the theme of "Empowering Our Relationships".
  • The event gained significant publicity through a radio interview on FM95.8, adding to its prestige.
  • The guest speaker, Mr Ian Chung from Xiyao Culture Association, shared valuable insights with the enthusiastic audience.
  • The event was made possible through a collaboration between FYC, People's Association, and Kembangan-Chai Chee Youth Network.
  • Held at the Kampong Kembangan Community Center, the event garnered a turnout of 108 participants from all walks of life.
  • The day was filled with memorable highlights, including MBTI assessments, an exciting performance and lucky draw. The dedicated effort of 20 volunteers contributed significantly to the resounding success of the event.

Water Clean-Up Volunteering – Kayak ‘N’ Klean
  • On 23rd April 2022, FYC conducted a Kayak 'N' Klean water clean-up volunteering, co-organised with PAssion Wave. 18 Volunteers dedicatedly picked up trash in the sea and did their part for the environment, while enjoying water sports together.

Elderly Home Visitation
  • On 30th January 2021, FYC organised the first physical volunteering session amidst the pandemic. FYC collaborated with Care Corner Singapore (Toa Payoh Center) to conduct a door to door home visitation to the elderly.
  • 7 Volunteers engaged with the elderly and did a survey with them to enable Care Corner to understand their needs and better address them.
