Youth Activity Booth @ LepakFest 2023<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

  • On 2nd July 2023, FYC hosted a booth at Lepakfest 2023 \u2013 a youth carnival organized by Nee Soon East Youth Network<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • Under the booth theme of Mental Health and Stress Management, FYC engaged a psychotherapist from Hypnotherapy SG to facilitate part of the booth activities. 15 Volunteers<\/strong> lent their support for this event.<\/li>\n
  • The booth offered games, art activities, and a relaxation corner, with the aim of helping participants unwind through play and encourage self-reflection. Participants had the opportunity to practice mindfulness, concentration, and relaxing breathing techniques during the activities.<\/li>\n
  • FYC received a certificate of appreciation from Mr Louis Ng, the Nee Soon East Division MP<\/strong>, for the significant contribution to the event’s success.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

    Tomorrow Today Series \u2013 Empowering <\/span><\/h5>\n

    • On 5th March 2023, FYC conducted the inaugural Tomorrow Today Series, focusing on the theme of “Empowering Our Relationships”.<\/li>\n
    • The event gained significant publicity through a radio interview on FM95.8<\/strong>, adding to its prestige.<\/li>\n
    • The guest speaker, Mr Ian Chung from Xiyao Culture Association<\/strong>, shared valuable insights with the enthusiastic audience.<\/li>\n
    • The event was made possible through a collaboration between FYC, People’s Association<\/strong>, and Kembangan-Chai Chee Youth Network<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
    • Held at the Kampong Kembangan Community Center, the event garnered a turnout of 108 participants from all walks of life.<\/li>\n
    • The day was filled with memorable highlights, including MBTI assessments, an exciting performance and lucky draw. The dedicated effort of 20 volunteers<\/strong> contributed significantly to the resounding success of the event.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      Water Clean-Up Volunteering \u2013 Kayak \u2018N\u2019 Klean<\/span><\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

      • On 23rd April 2022, FYC conducted a Kayak ‘N’ Klean water clean-up volunteering, co-organised with PAssion Wave<\/strong>. 18 Volunteers<\/strong> dedicatedly picked up trash in the sea and did their part for the environment, while enjoying water sports together.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

        • On 30th January 2021, FYC organised the first physical volunteering session amidst the pandemic. FYC collaborated with Care Corner Singapore (Toa Payoh Center)<\/strong> to conduct a door to door home visitation to the elderly.<\/li>\n
        • 7 Volunteers<\/strong> engaged with the elderly and did a survey with them to enable Care Corner to understand their needs and better address them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section><\/div>\n
